Re: 2007 Womas Hatching!!!
It is called "egg crate" I'm not 100% sure if they call it that at the building centres etc. where you can purchase it though? It is a product that is used for fluoresent lighting etc & can be purchased at any home improvement or lighting centre. It comes in 2 ft X 4 ft "sheets" usually if I remember right, I reuse it every year so I haven't bought any in a long time. Its really great for incubating as the substrate can be as wet as you want for high humidity & the eggs never touch it. No worrying about if the incubation substrate too wet or too dry, just soak it good once in the beggining & its good for the whole time. It can also be used as part of the actual incubator too works good if the heat tapes in the bottom & the egg crate "shelf" is a couple inches above it. Handy stuff I just cut it to size with sissors or a dremel would work even better. Hit the lighting department of your local building centre & they should have it. Its easy to describe it so even the not so smart employees can usually help you find it if you can't find it yourself. Its sometimes in the section where the "false ceiling" stuff is but usually in "lighting" somewhere. Mark

Re: 2007 Womas Hatching!!!
THX ya the lil ones are like 3 months old now, I had another clutch but only got 1 out of it. Only 4/8 babies are left here now & 1.1 of them are flying across the country on sunday out to Quebec so only 1 pair will remain. Mark
