Gecko Identification

My friend got an unknown gecko a few day ago from someone who wasnt taking proper care of it ( a lot more than just not knowing what kind of care to give him....... )... The gecko is in very poor shape now, he doesnt eat since a few weeks... I think it can come from parasites. He has been sold under the name of Thick-toed gecko...... I looked-up a bit on the net and it doesnt have anything in common with what most people call thick-toed gecko... He look similar to a bunch of gecko...
A good starting point ( essential.....) to help him would be to know his species.... Someone have a clue?
We are keeping it at 80-85F, and 60-70% humidity, with gradient..
I doesnt like to guess keeping parameters
Anyway, here his picture.
Thanks for your help!
