28 eggs!!!!
My female laid 28 eggs on the ninth of this month.
Now as of today they are still intact so im hoping it means they are fertile.
But i am having trouble with mold, how can i remedy this?

Not like anyone on here seems to care! But my eggs are pretty much no good. Alot of them have mold and arent looking very calcified.
Oh well hopefully i have better luck with breeding this spring,.:medteeths

Hey
I said in other post but just to be safe i will say again, humidity is too high, but I am sure you have bought a humidistat by now so I would assume temp is too low, when your temperature is too low mould likes to form(very quickly) and can easily spread to all the eggs....if you would like like more help you have to give more info! Or it is like shooting into the dark.....ie: temp, % humid..., how long in incubator, how close together are the eggs, what type of incubator, etc.......
Cheers
If it tastes like chicken :medgrimac it isn't!

well actually they are not fertile thats why they are molding. I have done plenty of research and am pretty confident that the temps and humidity are good. im not sure off hand what the temp is but i know its the right one lol. The humidity is between 80 and 90%. I am using a homemade incubator: Plastic coleman cooler with water and fish tank heater set to right temp in the bottom and a clear plastic tupperware container with vermiculite, eggs are evenly spaced about an inch apart.
I am not a newbie to the hobby. Do I know everything? of course not who does?
Also eggs arent very well calcified as i already mentioned. As well as I already mentioned that i was pretty sure they were no good before they even went in the incubator.
DOnt always assume that people dont know what they are doin'

28 eggs
What kind of snake? Did you breed her to a male? How old was the male? Take a pen-light and candle the eggs, hold the light against the egg, if you see any blood veins, the eggs should be good. It sometimes take a few weeks for veins to appear.
