Yellow-footed tortoise hatchling

Here's a little guy trusted to my care 'till next week's auction. I may have to bid on him myself! Donated by Josie's Exotic Reptiles. Thanks, Josie!

Brian, each year our herp soc. (Suncoast Herpetological Society) here in FL. has an auction/ fundraiser at our Dec. meeting in Clearwater. It's a good idea and a lot of fun. It always costs me, but hey, I'm just spending my Xmas bonus!Ha Ha Ha!, er .....HoHoHo!

What I like most about neonate yellow-foots over redfoots:

Being true rainforest animals, yellow-foots have much bigger eyes and longer legs than the forest fringe dwelling redfoots, making them oh so cute!
