Talking Cute herp food

I know they aren't herps and it isn't even a great photo, but just got a digital camera and I'm giving in to taking pictures of everything. These are our siamese and burmese gerbils - if we are going to breed rodents to feed to reptiles, they are going to be cute ones.

My Ball Pythons think they're kinda cute too. They want me to set up a play-date for them

Those have got to be the cuttest gerbils I have ever seen!! Could you share where you attained them from and if they are able to ship. I would love to have a few of those as 'pets'.
Thanks
Beth

Hi Beth,
they are pretty appealing aren't they. I bought out the girl I got the parent line from and have been developing them ever since. I have placed a few in Saskatchewan and with one other feeder breeder here, but don't know of any other breeders in Western Canada. I looked a long time for these and my siamese mice and just got lucky both times.

If you want some I would be happy to provide them, just not familiar with shipping rodents and usually the cost means it is not worthwhile. If you or friends are ever out to Alberta reptile shows, just let me know and we can meet you there and deliver some.

I just breed them cuz I like to have gerbils (genetics was fun) and we use them as feeders for any snakes that will take them, so we usually have babies available.

thanks for your time Mary and I will for sure contact you when at a show. I love the look of them, and I already have siamese rats and mice, so adding the gerbils would be neat.
Could you email me privately with your contact information?
