My new royal python

:rsmile: :rsmile: I got him at the expo on sunday , hes CB born Aug 9th, 4 feedings so far ( 5 counting last night) 3 sheds. Im surprized he ate last night, hes awfully stressed, especially with me taking hiim outside to take the pics i got. Hes very jump right now and has tagged me once already, but it was a mistake on my behalf, i approached his head with my hand, i scared him way to much. so i was asking for it. But yea, he ate the rat pup, which was incredibly small for him, hes eating live right now, i plan on the next feeding to try to feed him f/t or maybe the feeding after that if hes too stressed. Check out his striped tail hes an absolute beauty.! :rsmile: :rsmile: :rsmile:

Ball does bite. I haven't bitten by my ball but one of my friend did get nailed twice by her male ball. One of my female ball did bit my poodle once very hard. Make sure you approach at the back or behind its head.
By the way, nice lttle cute ball.

Forget the name of him and her, they are breeders from oshawa that came to the show on sunday. Im not really all that worried about where i got him from, i got him checked up at the reptivet i got a fecal done and his mouth checked and checked for parasites. Everything went good. I know to approach them from behind their head, so they dont think ur attacking them, cause royals are very cautious(sp) about their heads. he was balled up in the corner though and everything behind his head was rubbermaid, so i tryed to get him very slowly and he tagged me :medopen: . I dont blame him.

iis that the encloser you are keeping it in the photographs, because you really need to put some hiding spots in there

just a question i was always told not to use coloured newspaper because the coloured ink can have toxins in it. And to only use black and white

has anyone else ever heard of this?
Or am i just thinking for birds incase they ingest it? lol

peace

You may be right, im not 100% sure, i am using coloured newspaper right now, its all i had handy, once he takes his next poop, im using black and white just to be one the safe side.
