New Boa!!!

Went to the herp show today and bought a new boa, not sure if it's a bcc or bci.

I wasn't planning on buying anything but mice today, and as always something happens and i leave with an animal. LOL

Long story short a good friend of mine passed away (one of my tattoo artist that i worked for). And a reptile breeder (and close friend of my friend that passed away) that knows him quite well had 3 of his snakes to sell. So i HAD to buy one of them.

Anyway here she is, Her name is Snake. I named her that because that was Shannon's nickname and i couldn't call her Shannon.

Thanks for looking,

Jamie

Thanks everyone.

I'll take your word on the bci thing, i don't know much on them other than the basic care. Guess now i'll have to learn.

Now that i have a little more time..... Shannon (my friend that died) was a great guy, he introduced me into the fact that herps can be pets and his was first collections i had ever seen. He had a few ball pythons, boa's, and tarantula's a few hots too, but at the time i was petrified of snakes and didn't really want to see them.

I lived with him for about 9 months while he was teaching me the ropes of body piercing. He was one of the best guys you could of met. He looked all scary and mean but was the sweetest teddy bear once you got to know him.

He died from a motorcycle accident a few weeks back, He swerved off the road into guard wire just so he wouldn't hit an animal. He threw his girlfriend off the bike before he hit it. They said he died instantly. I was so heart broken to hear of this, so when the chance came up to have one of his animals i couldn't pass it up. I've never had any desire to have a big boa (except an ETB), but i just had to and my man thought i did too.

Sorry to bore anyone but i just had to let it out.

Thanks

Jamie
