Taiwan Beauty snake clutch
Well, in addition to my luck with my Jani, my TBS had a stellar clutch of 19 eggs. Not bad for her first try, EH? Looks like one is a slug but the rest look great. One thing I did notice is that the eggs are a bit harder (more brittle) than my pine eggs were. I don't know if it's a problem, but I'm sure some of you TBS or VBB breeders can shed some light on this for me.
Thanks,
Francis

My VBB eggs do feel much more brittle than my corn snake eggs. Congrats on the clutch, 19 is awesome!

tbs eggs
19 eggs, that is awesome. did you incubate or did you leave them in the cage w/mama? my blue just layed, last night and today, not sure how many, she is protecting them pretty good. if you incubated, what temp and humidity did you use? also, does anyone know of a good website for info? or maybe a good book on beauty snakes? thanksss.

http://www.slitheringserpents.com/bluebeautycare.htm Egg care is the same as most all Colubrids I'd go with a temp in the low 80's & in 2 months you should have hatchlings. If you leave them in with momma they will likely all dry out & die, an incubator is the best bet. Mark
