Growth Survey
just want to know how your giant python sgrowth are in the first year???
here are my babies...
#1- albino male burmese - 1st year 7.2 feet
#2- Green male burmese - 1st year 8.5 feet
#3- female burmese - 1st year 6.8 feet
#4- female retic - 4-5 months 4.2 feet

Don't have him anymore but my old Male Labyrinth Burm was 7ft in his 1st year.

I really don't think your going to get any great stats off this.....size and growth all depends on husbandry and feeding.

My two burms grew as follows;
Female Albino - 7.5 feet in one year.
Male Granite - 6.25 feet in one year.

I have a albino thats 4 months 4.3 feet (not sure on sex yet)

I got my males at 8 feet and my females at 10 in one year but I had to keep them on their diet. I never missed a meal and I uped the prey size every feeding so I paid close attention to their food.

My good friend has a year old normal coloured labrith and he is 7 and a half feet I think he was hatched last May, Very heavy. I have a 5 month old albino I'm taking care of for friend whos on vacation for a month and hes just under 4 feet but thin.

Here is my year-old granite burm. He is now just under 7 feet.

Looking at these figures, it kind of goes against the "myth" that recent morphs and variations all have slower growth than regular burms.
Anyway, my biggest burm was almost 9 feet in her first year. She died very young, at 5 and a half years old. She was over 21 feet then. I still keep the skin.
