Corns can make good snakes because of their ease of care and manageable size, but rosies and sandies are just as good, if not better (corns can range from nasty to super docile in temperament). Either a rosy or a kenyan would make an excellent choice (providing they are both feeding well before you aquire them, as they can sometime be tricky to get started, but once they are eating they usually don't look back). Can't go wrong with either one. Baby kenyans can be a little more nippier I find, and spend all their time burried beneath the substrate, whereas rosies like to climb and you will be able to see them in their cage more often. Both species are generally docile and easy to care for, it all boils down to which one appeals to you most

Good luck with your decision
