Ants!!!

I have noticed a large amount of tiny little ants in my Tegu's cypress mulch. is this a problem? and what should I do about it?

makes sure you dont leave food around and get ant traps, I had ants so bad in my room(not my animal cages) but one night I woke up and had 5 one me! Main problem was that i always left food in my room and then after I cleaned my room and put ant traps out I didnt see them anymore.

yeah i am now feeding him outside his enclosure. So i think that should take care of it
