Getting dumped
Hey Jeff .. is there any way to increase the auto logoff time .. evry time I try to post a long winded message, by the time I'm finished I'm logged off and when I log back in the system doesn't know where to post my message .. it says that no thread was specified
I know .. don't post long winded messages. but some of us just can't shut up.

I have that problem too (I'm just slow *L*)... I have to copy my post when I'm done typing it, so I can go through the process of logging back in and then pasting the post into the reply window (and every so often I forget and lose a long post :P). What is the logg out time set to, anyway??

I've never encountered this problem but what you might try is writing the post in Word then cut and paste...it's good for spell checking too.

Just a thought...
Are you auto-logging off of your internet connection? That might be the problem. In which case it's an issue with your service provider and/or your browser...not the site.

Nope .. not off the net .. just in posting messages. I can stay logged in at the main screen all day, but if I'm typing a message and get too involved .. or phase out on a tv show , I get lost.
I do the same as Cas usually, I save the text and then just login again, but that's a pain. Same as typing in Word .. it's just 12 more steps and a bit annoying. (besides .. I pride myself in not needing spell check ... usually. )

So........Let me get this straight. You take a long time to get things started and when you are ready you can't get it up. That is all fine and dandy.....but how is Jeff going to help you out???....That is what I'd like to know..lol.

*Laughs*... You guys are perverts
More on topic -- I've never had that problem either -- I can start typing a message, go away for hours sometimes and come back and have it still here and be able to post it?
