i use an under the tank heater for my boa....actually, it's a heating pad for humans that I got at Kmart for like $15 bucks. Get the kind that doesn't have the automatic shut-off device. Do you have a temperature gauge with a probe? That will keep your heat temps right.

Did you just get this boa?

...levels around 50% or so. You are in Dayton, Ohio? We're in the same neighborhood.

What are you keeping your boa in?

Yes go by the digital one it is more accurate.. If the shed stays on his head try and bump the humidity up to 70 -75% this might work. You could also give him a bath.

yeah a spray bottle will help raise the humidity, you will want to try and get it off before the next shed.
