Maybe some Helmeted geckos or Viper geckos? I'd buy small geckos (3" max) for a tank that size.

Difficult to get something you can handle to fit in a 10 gallon tank(other then leo's and cresties of course), it would have to be more of a show peice. I would suggest something small with a lot of bright colors!

A fish.
Then find the lizard that you WANT, and then get a proper enclosure to suit. (You'll be much happier if you get an animal that you are pleased with, then trying to be pleased with an animal that fits)

Leo, AFT, and also pictus are very cool. You should also be able to get pictus around 20.00 as well, and easy breeders. Check them out.

A 10g isn't even great for most fish. If it were me, I'd use it for a juvenile "something" and get a larger enclosure for when it grows up. That way you can always get new herps! We've got a 10g I'm lookin to fill, too, but right now it's great for crickets.

Yea the only thing I use a 10 gal for is hatchlings, other than that I won't put anything in under a 15 gal. If I get even some smaller aboreal geckos I'm putting them in an 18x18x24 or 18x18x18. Anything like leos or AFTs are max 2 in a 15 gal.
