I am about to move my Cali King into a larger enclosure. I know she loves deep substrate because she travels under it half the time. Her head could be at one end and just the tip of her tail at the other. Its pretty cool. Anyways, are Kings big climbers?
Would I be best to add some height as well as floor space? Or is it really an issue?

I just bought my first snake last week and he/she loves to climb. I am amazed at how curious kings are. I added a branch a couple days after I got him and he went right for it and moved very quickly up the branch. When he's active he is all over the tank, up and down and burrowing in.
Our cal kings that are under a year do climb quite a bit when given tree limbs but our adults spend most of their time on the floor of cages even with trees to cruise in. Others may have found them to like the trees more, but our corns and some of the other king species seem to appreciate climbing branches more than the cal kings as adults,
