two questions here...on a warm summer day can you bring your BRB outside if so how long? and can you do the same for your CRTB (columbian redtail)?

I personally dont take them outside often...if i do..its for a od picture..but for the most part, most my reptiles remain inside.

You can deffinetly take them out and id say its best if its over 20 degrees C. You also dont want to keep them out to long but yea its fine.

Id also advise you dont go walking down your street with a big boa as depending on where you live it may be banned or might get that stuff banned.

Yeah, or terrifying... lots of people are terrified of snakes and a few phone calls later, you've ruined it for everyone.

I agree with Heather. That's both irresponsible and inconsiderate. Nobody can argue a bit of fresh air and sunshine isn't great for any land animal, but you definitely will want to limit this with your boas. In my experience, it tends to get their nerves going as well. You will also want to completely avoid outdoor trips altogether if there is a possibility some nosy neighbours might see.

ok guys i said ti would be coool not as if i would REALLY do it, so sunshine is ok for the boa cuz it would be nice to bring it into the backyard out of the house for a bit no?

IMO,

Going outside isn't necessarily bad- but nosy neighbors etc aside, here's the deal

- Going on grass, in your yard, the snake might come into contact with parasites etc. Not necessarily likely, but its possible

-Any time you remove the snake from his home, he's going to be outside of his ideal temperature and humidity. As far as I know Rainbow boas don't particularly like full sunlight, but that's not really the issue here, the issue is temperature and humidity.

If it happened to be about 80 ferenheit and about 70-80% humidity then I think you'd be in an ideal situation to hang out in the yard with your snake. I might not let it go on the grass personally, but I am definitely an advocate of letting the things get excercise if the proper conditions exist.

If its too cool or dry outside, I'd say keep him inside. IMO, if the snake isn't being stressed, and the temperature and humidity are ideal for the animal, and you don't freak anyone out, and the snake is supervised, and in a clean area, there's no problem.
