Thank you Corey Woods

Here is a couple pics of my 2 biggest boys, I got the Pastel from Corey today and snapped some shots after I weighed him (402g)and put him in his new home. Which he started exploring about 45 seconds after I put him in there.

The normal male is just a grumpy guy I had yet to take any pics of.

And here he is, da Vinci

beautiful snakes. I love pastels. Corey is a great guy to deal with, i have some snakes from him. He deals with the NERD line doesn't he? I like the graiziani line myself, but they are all awsome. Now all you need is a couple big girls for next fall and your male should be big enough to breed!

Corey has bred NERD line Pastels in the past but no longer has any in his collection, I believe he only has Graziani Pastels now.

I'm not sure there is any specific visual difference between any of the Pastel lineages. The Graziani line got the reputation for being the best, though these days Blonde Pastels are highly priased. I used to be able to see differenced between some of the lineages, however, these days we are several generations in from the origional that this seems to "clean up" all Pastels. On a bit of a side note, I don't think there will be any compatability issues with different strains, it's more labeled based on the founder........that being said, wild caught and CH Pastels come out of Africa every year in decent numbers.

Oh yeah, Corey has fantastic animals and I've never been disappointed with any purchase I've made from him. I'm sure you'll find the Pastel to be a good feeder too

LOL on mr.grumpy pants!! I have one of those too from Corey, mine is a 50% het orange ghost, he strikes every time I open his cage. I agree, I would buy animals from Corey anytime, he has some of the best animals in Canada and is great to deal with.

No the Grumpy One is the normal "Chronic", he was just in the Rubbemaid for a cage cleaning. I got him from a pretty cool guy............with tattoos and lotsa piercings, hence the name "Chronic" not that I was stereo typing (much) , but I thught the name fit. The Pastel "da Vinci" is very calm. Chronic ate last night and is much more laid back, now I think his belly is full he is feeling great. I got a little female with "Chronic" her name is...........................you guessed it! "Mary Jane" here she is'

Sorry, I thought you got both from Corey.

Phrasty, I just contacted Corey about the other pastel he has, same as the one you must be looking at cause he said he had two and one was possibly off to Jamaica!! LOL......From my meager past experience Corey = Great Animals and good customer service.
