SNow breeding pics cont'd

They are still at it I, my DH for snow male seems to have lost interest in the snow female but I did not observe any ovulation so I decided to try old Mr. reliable again. My anery male, well he did not waste anytime and has been on her for over a week. He has bred 2 females already and after a brief rest and a couple of meals is back at it.

You can see my DH for snow male in the corner observing (lazy *******) maybe the seasoned veteran can teach him a few things.

If she does produce at least I will know who dad is by what comes out.

DH for snow fathers the liter, 25% double het for snow, 25% albino het for snow, 25% anery het for snow and 25% snows.

Anery male fathers the litter all will be anery 100% het for snow.

it is possible for members of the same litter to have different fathers, so even if you get a mixed clutch, you still wont know who fathered the anerys.

It can happen but either way they would anery 100% het for snow.

If I was to have a large %age of anerys in the clutch along with albinos, DH's and snows it might be that each male had fathered a portion of the litter.

It has been proven that 2 male boas can father babies in one litter. This has been proven a number of times by various breeders.

It will be interesting to see what happens, I just hope she produces babies. LOL

Easy there greenman, you do not want to get us old guys too excited. I might have a heart attack or something.

It looks like I am getting my wish for my birthday a brand new motorized scooter and the clapper. LOL

Ahhh to be 20 again.

My pair of anerys that produced this year have bred again the female is due last week of March so if all goes well I should have some. They are the same pair that produced the really clean babies last season.

The father of those is the anery breeding the snow, he has also bred my DH for sunglow female so I should have some DH for ghost 50% possible het for albino babies as well.

Mark she sure has grown from the tiny little white worm she was 4 years ago. She is about 6 feet but I do not think she will be a very large female. SHe has not grown much in length over the last year but her girth has increased quite a bit due to sexual maturity.

That would be one of Dan's new "Zillatanks" made by a fellow named Greg Reschke out of EDM, AB I think? He is new to custom designed reptile enclosures & Dan's were created from the prototype Greg had at one of last years AB shows. I got to snag up all the old enclosures : ) Mark
P.S. Dan, ya I don't think I've seen her for just about 2 years, but these Snow Boas can be very elusive apparently : )

Hi Dan,
Do you welcome visits to your 'facility'?
I have a 'lazy *******' that could benefit from viewing some of that activity.
This is from one who understands ' girth has increased quite a bit due to sexual maturity.' lmao
I work in a nursing home and can find some used equipment for your 'golden years'. If you talk nice I will even take care of all your needs as you age. I can show you the pot of gold at the end of the 'rainbow' (if it doesn't 'snow').

Sorry Tony, the devil made me do it!

All kidding aside.....Dan that pic is priceless! Good Luck! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

Carol
