Heat pad question...

Can my exo-terra heat pad touch my rubbermaid container or glass?

Thanks.

Sure, but you probably won't want to use the adhesive to affix it, or it will be there for good. I just attach it to a piece of parchment paper, but make sure it is hooked up to some sort of regulator so it doesn't overheat. If it is allowed to get hot enough to warp/melt plastic, it is seriously dangerous for your herp, as well as a fire hazard.
