cage vents

am looking everywhere for 2-2.5" circular vents to put in the new snake enclosure i'm building..

none of the harware store can figure out what i'm looking for and keep taking me to the dryer vent isle

Is there a specific name for the vents.....i just want to drill a 2-2.5" hole in the melamine and it will snap in

I have always had the best luck finding them at Rona. I have seen the smaller ones there but have always opted for the 3" ones. Funny enough, I have ONLY found them in the Dryer Vent isle..

I think these maybe what you are looking for and I had the same prob finding them NO one knows where anything is that works there lmao But home depot at Bank St near the LCBO has LOTS of them.

Honduran...went to that same home depot (live 5 mins away) & didnt see them but will check again

I found them right at the back of the store over to the left side more.Right on the back wall.

If you dont find them let me know I have extras

Their proper useage is for wall ventelation so that humidity doesn't build up and cause mould between the walls. Can't think of what they're called off hand, but a better description of use might help.
