PayPal

Hi Guys,
Just wondering what the steps were to receiving a payment from PayPal. I just opened a Paypal account, and a customer wants to pay me via PayPal. I guess my main concern is, how do you get your money from Paypal? Do they send you a cheque? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

usually when you set up a Pay pal account you attach it to a CC or a bank account and when you want the cash you just transfer it to your account usually takes 5 bus. days.

Yes you transfer it from your paypal account to your bank account and they charge you a small fee for doing it. Can sometimes take a little while to get to your bank account though.

yea I used pay pal to order the chameleons of madagascar dvd.
I was amazed at how easy the sign up was. I also like the fact that its a product of ebay, the added security is a huge relief when putting your credit card information on the net.
Anyone know of anything happening along the lines of credit card faud on the pay pal site yet?

I dont think anything is really 100% safe on the net, if they can hack government files then i don't know lol

peace

it's easy to transfer to your bank account once verified..... just let your buyer know that paypal charges you a fee.

it's free to send the money to your bank once you have it, but i believe they will take 2.25% or something close to that when it comes from the other person....

i wouldn't do it if you don't want some of your money taken off there.
