Powerful Solar Storm to Hit Earth by Wednesday

A huge sunspot kicked up a powerful flare Monday that could spark colorful sky lights above Earth Tuesday night or early Wednesday.

Tonight i noticed the northern lights were really bright. The purple and green was really bright, i would say the brightest ive ever seen. I was visiting my parents who live in a campground and i step outside the house and having no city lights around made a big difference.
