adult burm cage

What would be a good size enclosure for an adult brum? And what wood be a good material for it how to heat it?

How big is the burm? I would say 8 x 4 x 3 would comfortably house it. For wood, I prefer maple (not because I am Canadian) and birch, but any wood except cedar is fine. Melamine is good too, but hard to work with and very heavy. You could heat the tank by placing a heat pad under it, or by using a CHE. A lot of people use flexwatt, but you need to learn how to properly connect it. I would highly recommend at least an analog thermostat as a safeguard against potential overheating and fire hazards.

Thanks for the help.The burm is only bout 2 and a half feet right now.It's in a 30 gallon aquarium then it is going into a 4' by 2' enclosure I have bought for it.
