Off topic Question...

Do I need a passport to cross into the United States for a couple of days?

I went over a month ago or so and they told me that although it isn't required, they strongly encourage you to have one with you. (though they didn't ask to actually see any form of ID.... )

Call your nearest boarder crossing and get the facts if you're unsure.
Cheers,

Since I dunno what the nature of your trip is or where you're staying or anything, the only reason I'm saying this is for by chance, or for future reference!

If you're staying at a hostel, (which in my opinion is the best way to travel), a LOT of them require you have a passport, even if you're just travelling within the states! So don't forget to double/triple check if you are staying in one =)
