Nice mtn. king
A really pretty L.zonata agalma I was given over the weekend. One of 5 different mtn. kings a very generous Tony has trusted to my care. Great additions! Thanks Tony!

I thought it was quite nice, really. I sure am glad everyone here seems to have fun on these forums. The last thing you want to see after a day at $%#@ work is arguing and complaining ( like on some others). Here it seems to be fun, entertaining, and light. Let's keep it that way! Anyway, here's another male I have that's more red (compared to orange)

Oh now I can tell the diff between the knob and zonata. THE NOSE! Shoot. I'm a moron. Ok, so mtn kings aren't my strength.

Katt, there are a lot of 'em to get confused with! Basically, L.pyromelana will have white noses, zonata have black. If you ever have one of each to compare, you'll see that they are quite different snakes altogether.(pyro vs. zonata) The real tough ones to I.D. are the different ssp. and intergrades- especially the zonata. As with all the other snakes I have, "they're my favorites"!LOL
