In Durham region the reptile by-laws are restrictive. Boa/pythons not allowed. In Toronto and any other civilized cities there are 3 metre length allowance by-laws..If you own reptiles in Oshawa/Whitby area keep it to yourself and don't go outside and show them off to your neighbours...no complaints... no problems.

I am sure if you went on any city website you could find the animal control by-laws you need. If not just send them an E-maill.

check out http://www.oshawa.ca/

that website appears to have some by-laws.. it might have the animal by-law.

if you are concerned, go to the city hall and ask for a copy of the by-law that restricts the keeping of certain animals. when i lived in whitby, that's what i did.

best of luck with your search.
