ID help

I picked up these two little gems at yesterdays expo - I was told they were Rhampholeon spectrum, but I'm thinking they are brevicaudatus. Need some other opinions.

Does anyone know of a good book that covers pygmy's?

Thanks

The book "Stump-tailed Chameleons Miniature Dragons of the Rainforest" is the newest and most complete book to date on Rhampholeon and Brookesia. It is by Petr Necas and Wolfgang Schmidt. It is alittle pricey but the info on each species is up to date. Some of the species photo'd are rarely if seldom ever seen.

The Rhamps. you got are R. brevicaudatus.

I didn't buy the setup - just a the two brevs. So yes, the mississaugua show. It was a toss between the pair or that wicked mellers! But I don't have the space for one of them.

I'll have to look into getting that book! Any places to buy it with good prices?

Thanks for the help pin-pointing the species - After looking through the Adcham profile, I didn't think they were spectrum's at all.

I don't know which dealer you spoke to but the book has been available in the states for about a month now. We got our 2 copies at Hamburg in Oct.

Good to know Carl.

Amazon has it now.

This place should have them in 10 days or so for those looking for it in the US. I will post others if/when i find more sources.
