Silkworms, the saga continues

Out of the dozen silkworms I picked up a while back, 11 cocooned and one died in the process.

Now four have emerged from the cocoons, and there's even been some mating and egg laying going on. I haven't been collecting the eggs, but I may in the future. This has just been for fun.

The amusing thing is that when I dropped the four moths in with the Leo a few minutes ago, two of them decided to start mating in the middle of the enclosure.

If the Leo decides she's in the mood for a snack they're in for a serious case of coitus interruptus.
