I got that problem too, earlier (11:30 ish), it said that the server was experiencing problems and to press the refresh button. This happened every time I changed screens in the gallery, and I was unable to post pics.

It just happened again, but this time I was just clicking on 'forums' so I copied the message:
There seems to have been a slight problem with the www.sSnakeSs.com database.
Please try again by pressing the refresh button in your browser.
An E-Mail has been dispatched to our Technical Staff, who you can also contact if the problem persists.
We apologise for any inconvenience.

I think the best thing to do in this case is wait. I saw the same message, and the site has been funky the past couple of days anyway
The MODS can't do anything about technical problems, so waiting it out is about all we can do...

DON'T press the refresh button. Hehehe... everytime that message occurs for someone, an email is automatically fired off to admin, as well as for every subsequent screen refresh. Everytime the site is experiencing such problems, admin ends up with a neverending amount of those emails that need to be sorted through and deleted. All that means is the site is either too busy, or is experiencing problems.

A bit of a pain for those of us paying for space we can't use. It would be nice if we were able to find out why it's not working or more importantly when it will be fixed. However, you can only do what you can do with the information you have.
