Biting is the main reason but there are many advantages too feeding F/T mice one is after a certain length of being frozen parasites are killed from the body of the mouse. It is much more convenient as well, you can keep a large supply without having too feed them. So it’s not only safer and healthier but its cheaper and easier as well.

Cheaper, no. Easier, no. Safer, yes. Healthier, debatable.

What Mykee means(I think...) is that once you have a large collection, breeding your own mice or rats is much cheaper then even buying frozen food in bulk, but since you probably have only 1-2 snakes, unless prices are really messed up where you live, buying frozen food will save you $$.

Yes.. cheaper ONLY if you are breeding your own. But for buying a live mouse vs. keeping 100 in your freezer, the cost savings of F/T is exponentially better than buying live mice each feeding.

I am not sure how much of a concern parasites are but if having been frozen all but eliminates the threat then that is so much the better. I fed my first BP live for the first few months that I had her and she got a small nip from a mouse and that converted me to the f/t side. The injury was tiny but it sure wised me up.
If you are feeding live then please consider switching to frozen for your snake's sake.
