Still finding herps

A couple days ago i went out to some local ponds in search for misc animals, and i was shocked at how many garters/bullfrogs were out. I caught about 6 Bullfrogs (all small, almost all big ones are hibernating now) and 8 garters. Only the north western and 1 valley, but still a lot more than last year at this time/place. I could also hear TONS of pacific tree frogs in certain pockets of forest. Unfortunatly no lizards , but i wasnt expecting any. Just thought id share what i found.

Kyle

.....

You can find Pacific Treefrogs all winter long (unless its minus 40 or there is snow). I hear them calling at work in December and January!

.......

Rough-skinned newts will mate all winter and you can find the Western Red-backs all winter as well.
