Ok, I have read that cypress and aspen are the way to go if you choose to use mulch. I have decide to use cypress, but could some of you that are using cypress give me the particular brand name of the stuff you use.
I ask this because I have seen a mulch called Cypress Gold at my local garden centre and was wondering if it is in fact Cypress or something different,
Any and all input is greatly appreciated. BTW, I will be putting it in my BCI enclosures.
Snakers55, I just got a response from Alltreat (the producer of Cypress Gold). This mulch comes from the scrap wood used in making telephone poles. The wood is PINE. Although the dye is not toxic, the Pine is, so perhaps you may want to consider using a different mulch.
I haven't used any of the Cypress Gold yet for my snakes so I will just be putting the bag on my flower garden.
