Thumbs up success!

I bought a six month old female normal ball last weekend from a reptile show and she's doing wonderful. I fed her last night and had to tease her a bit with a f/t adult mouse---it was so great to watch her sort of stalk it and then pounce and curl herself around it. She was used to eating live and then freshly killed. I was concerned she might not eat f/t ---at least not for a long time. She had no probs at all and I'm relieved! I don't know when she ate before so she could have been *very* hungry.

I love the temperment of this girl---she seems so calm about everything. I will not handle her for awhile yet so she can continue to become familar with her new home.

cheers!

d.

Balls are great snakes, congrats on your new acquisition. Here's hoping that you get years of enjoyment from her
