Took a quick bad pic of my keeper male mex blk. Unfortunately, he is not nearly as black as I would like, but I have to keep a mex blk from my first mex blk clutch. He's a great feeder on f/t.
Mex blks are in my opinion the very best in kings. I love the natural shiny black colouration and the great docile nature (well at least most are). They get a good size and tend to be super eaters. I think mex blks should be one of the recommend beginner snakes for a person who'z not concerned with colour.
My MBK is my very first snake and she is great. I'm waiting on her to come out of her shed right now. She's been a super eater so far and fairly docile.
