Holdback pastels
Just thought I'd post a few pics of my holdback pastels, and include a group shot of my pastel hets. Enjoy.
Pastels: These girls have all shed at least twice and weigh 175-250g.
Pastel hets: These boys have all shed once (except for #3, he's mid shed) and weigh 100-150g. Note: all these boys have a reduced back quarter of their patterns.
At this rate, I'll never sell a pastel...

Those are some BEAUTIES Mykee! Awesome stuff... gotta love all that blushing!!
Shawn, all pastels are het for super pastel (hence the fact that when you breed 2 pastels together, you can produce super pastels).

Nice group!!!
You are breeding Pastel Albinos...? Has anyone done these yet...? I'd love to see a pic of one...
Are the girls het-albino or just the boys...?
Great job...

Will; it hasn't been done yet, and I don't think I'll be THE first to do it, as there are breeders who are years ahead of me, but if all goes well, by the end of next breeding season, I should have something to show for my effort with this particular project. I'll have a handful of het albino girls ready next season and a female albino, so fingers crossed. (All four were all males, at least it gives me the opportunity for me to "share" this project with the right bidder).
