Stripers from Red Deer *pics*
Here's a pic of one the two female normal stripers I picked up from Mark IsBell at the Red Deer show. I had prepaid for a few animals and was thoroughly pleased to finally pick them up from Mark. He picked out some beauties. Definitely pays to prepay!!
I'm absolutely estatic with them. They're perfect!! I love normal stripers and I can't wait til they grow up, that's when normal stripers really look their best!!
I took a whole whack of photos of the normal girls, but only one turned out.

But this little gal takes the cake!! Flawless striping, not so flawless body. She's got a kink in her, but in no way does it detract from her beauty. I'm so happy to have her. I have always wanted an anery striper.

Mark took a lot of my money away from me, but his stock is excellent. Great guy to deal with to boot!!

THX Katt I'm glad you are happy with the "freebie" Anery. I couldn't even consider euthanizing her because of that kink, she was just way too beautiful. I hope she turns out to be a good snake. Very nice pics of her very hard to see her flaw. Mark

Woah! Those are killer Katt! I don't recall seeing those in person at the show, you may have shown me, but I was so spaced out from exhaustion. *L* They're BEAUTIFUL, great buys! Mark always has some killer looking Colubrids for sale.

The funny thing is Mark is that that girl has me more excited than the two regulars! Course they are beautiful in their own way, but an anery striper.

Oh sooo cute! I can't stop looking at that first picture. Awh!
Beautiful animals! I'm picking up a sunglow stripe soon and I'm so excited!
That anery stripe is stunning!
Now, with the knink in her, would you still breed her? Or is that a defect you'd worry about passing on?

Chances are she's not on the "breedable" list. I already have two striped females, a cubed motley, and access to a het stripe so there's no need to breed her. Chances are the kink will grow out and lessen, but it could cause problems with eggs. I think it's just an incubation problem.

How in the hell did I miss this post till now.
Great pictures Katt - obviously great specimens. I'd love to have a "corn room" I think I should build my mother one.
Marks colubrids are the best I've seen anywhere, hands down! I had to get indigos from him last time, lucky you people who get $100 snakes from the man!
So, Vanan - how's it feel to have the girlfriend master that camera?
Awesome pictures!!!!
