It's been a tough year but finally a reward
After our frilled dragon gave us 2 clutches equaling 20 eggs that were all infertile we got a great surprise yesterday...we had 7 healthy FERTILE eggs they we were not expecting at all. She didn't show any signs of being gravid and didn't use her lay box at all to deposit the eggs, instead they just scattered in the corner but were all in good shape. Can't wait for the next couple months for these to hatch out...baby frilled dragons are just awsome to have around.
The eggs
Mom
Thanks for looking
Jamie

Congrats, Nice job! That must be great to find some live eggs after a bunch of dead ones. Just make sure to give her a little extra calcium.

hey can you pm me with some tips of what you did to get them to breed? i've got 2 breeding age adults (and two juvies) and haven't really put a lot of effort into breeding yet. i don't care about making money or anything, i think they're just awesome animals that i'd love to see the whole process of laying, hatching and raising. thanks ahead of time if you do decide to share some of your tips...

Thanks guys, it is always nice to have baby frilleds hanging around...they are unbelievable to work with and I am just happy to be fortunate enough to be able to keep them happy and healthy enough to get eggs out of them. In about 2 months I will get pics of the babies

I am glad to hear that the frilled is doing well for you sheldon...I was sad to see him go and now the eggs give me something to look forward to.
As to the question if I will be selling them, I will be selling a couple of them after about 4-6 weeks after they hatch. They are due in about 2 months so around oct-nov they should be ready to go. There is nothing better than captive bred frilleds, they are just packed with personality.
