Oh I so hate you now!!!
You gonna be a the white plains show??? Please tell me you are there and you are selling this one ;-)
From what I can see in the pic, there is almost no red in the narrow bands. Very nice one indeed.
Got some pics of the adults?

It would be nice to travel up there, but there's no way for me this year to pull that off. Daytona was pretty slow and I still have a lot of babies left, but they'll get homes. Out of this particular clutch, this one was the most "alterna" looking, with the one I posted earlier being a bit more colorful. The others are all fairly typical Blair's. My pics of the parents are gone since my hard drive crashed, but I needed to get better ones anyway. Dad looks much as this little guy pictured and mom is Blair's.
Oh yeah, I did have a bit of interest in this one, but had him "for show only" I just might keep him!
With all the others on my table @ $35.-$40.ea I still thought I'd sell at least one. There were not as many there as in years past. I remember my friend Lee Abbott having his @ $60.
Sheesh!!

Very, very nice. The alterna phase really grows on me - love the blairs, but appreciate those with reduced orange much more all the time. Can't believe you didn't sell more in Daytona,

Mary, I'm like you. When I first saw the Blair's, I thought they were to die for, but have since become much more fond of the alterna look. It depends. I had hoped to get some with no red/orange color at all, but since both parent animals have at least some color, I figured my chances were slim. I guess this one is about as alterna as I could get from that pair. I do like the speckly ones also, but would much rather have those to have stark RED (if any) coloration in there as opposed to orange. When I get any like that, you know I'll have pics to share.
