Hi there, I just wanted to know, I live in Sherbrooke, near MTL, and I have a swimming pool at my home, and it increases the humidity level alot on hot days. My question is; can I expect to see any snakes on my yard?? Because I have never seen any, maybe because I live in the city..
The only thing that maybe an attractant is the pool, water is necessary for all life to thrive, you may come accross one or two, but you would have better chances in a rural setting w/pool.

anything is possible. i live in the suburbs. im my whole time of living here (almost 17 years) i have only found a garter snake, red ear slider and american toad with in 1 KM from my house. With in 2 KM's with dave smith i have found jeffersons salamanders and red back salamanders. and i have heard of my reports of eastern milk snakes and northern water snakes with in 3 Km's from my house. so anything is possible. i hope you find somthing in good shape some day.
