hahaha dont feel that way- I feel that way at night when i post to a lot of messages and not many people are on, and suddenly its my name on the "last post by" slot in like half the forums. Don't sweat the small stuff, and hooray for freedom of speech! For the most part, everyone seems really chill, and peoples usernames actually get brought up in conversation at my dinner table sometimes. Ill be like "oh Jeff Favelle bred blah morph," and my husband is like, "who?," or ill be like "I was worried about such and such but nita and marisa made me feel better!" LoL. I like this forum, and even if you do annoy some people, who cares, no one is forcing them to read yours posts!

I dig ya!

Im not sure what's giving you that idea... If you are getting that vibe, just let it go.. There's no point in worrying what a bunch of people behind a keyboard think about you..

Hmm, perhaps it's about about all the time and advice people have given to you about your Sav, and KSB, and so on, and you just end up selling them for the next flavour of the month.

I could be wrong though

:-)

well my ksb was the only thing im selling because I didnt do enough thinking about what kind of snake I would end up with.

Im selling my sav for a whole other reason I didnt know was going to come up. And I would rather not sell him, and im still not 100 percent sure I want to...but times call for desperate measures.

What else would you say I did that with? Is it a bad thing to try and move up the scale to more advanced animals then staying at beardies and leopard geckos?

I still have my leopard gecko, that was my first lizard, and I dont plan on selling it. hmmm....Im not trying to sound sarcastic...but actually how to I move up the scale then into more advanced reptiles in order to further my learning? If I want something else but am at a peak amount of reptiles I can hold..is it bad to sell something to be able to aquire something new?

thanks for the replies

Well, you won't be looked at as that if you don't always change your mind with what you want to keep and what you want to buy.. Instead of buying animals and then not being able to care for them and in turn selling them, try harder to work with them..

As for not staying at beadies and leo's and wanting to move up.. A lot of people that 'move up' with the animals they own, suprisingly still own the 'lower end' animals.. Just cause you want something 'better' doesn't mean you have to get rid of your other stuff..

but me for me it kind of is. If i had my own place it would be way different...but as I live with other family members I have to take their opinions into consideration.

I cannot have 20+ animals as much as I would really love to...I can stay in and around 10ish animals...And slowley I just make that number higher whether they know or not But for big buys for animals that take tons of space I have to get permition.

Well all im saying is that im really not a compulsive buyer at all. The reason for the ksb was a one time thing..i regret buying it but hey..it led to my corn snakes and I met jeff hatheway

As for the sav..that was a whole different story. I want to keep him but my business calls for more space in the house. Even though I need to get rid of him...ive decided to keep him. As you said...im going to try harder to work with what I have.

Thanks for the input...ive taken it and will try to be a better reptile owner. Thanks..i needed this thread

Yah you shouldnt get fustrated with your animals and just sell them if that was the thing to do I think none of would have any animal longer than a month right? Animals of any kind can get fustrating to take care of sometimes but their our responsibility so we just got to deal and no matter it always gets better, right?
And don't worry about ppl not liking you because obviosly by this post you have plenty of ppl that like you as a member of this site.
