Reptile room done.... well kind of!
Well after way too much time, money and a few headaches, the room is almost done.
So here is a description by pictures.
These are the main larger cages. All I need to do is add a couple of the larger cages that will fit on top of the two singles. Right now all I have in a rubbermaid is my smallest ATB. The two units will be built in September. John from JD terrariums built all of these cages and I am very pleased with how they turned out. Each is heated by a RHP and room lighting is on a timer. Each of the cage temps is controlled by the temp control that Grant VG is selling which has four probes - great temp controller! My B. boehmi tank is also in the pic.
Next up is the rosy set up. John built me an oak shelf that can hold an elephant! or four tanks. The reasoning was so not to have any cages in front of the baseboard heaters so I went with this idea. I plan to put another one across the other side once Roy's rosies have a few more babies! C'mon Roy! The rosies are heated by uth on dimmers. I bought the front opening tanks for two of the rosies and will now buy only those! Easier and better looking IMO. Here are a couple of shots ...
Lastly, here are my new cages I bought from Grant at PCPC. Great cages! I have my two BPs in there and they are heated with uth's on dimmers. Love these cages as they stack well and have a clean look to them.
So a couple more cages, another rosy shelf and I am done.
Thats it for the summer though.
Just to show you how much my snakes do like their new homes....
Thanks for looking!

Those enclosures look great! But, a reptile room never seems to be complete...

That is simply beautiful! I would love to do that someday and I know that I will, it'll just take some time!

Wow! Nice work.
My ONLY advice is that it could use a few more reptiles... but what reptile room couldn't?!!?
Again, VERY nice work.

Thanks for the kind words everyone.
A few more reptiles ....hmmmmm. This was supposed to double as my home office and I would like to put in a desk hehe
As I stated I would like to get 4 more rosies to match the shelf cages then one female Black blood python (if I can ever find one in Canada) and I think my lil' collection will be done.
It is hard to stop but I am thinking that the room will look great, most of what I want in snakes will be mine and it is an amount I can manage.
Thanks again everyone. Now it is time to take some pics of the snakes as they are growing into very pretty adults

Great room! Looks like you have plenty of space to move around in. I can't move 2 feet in either direction in my snake room without bumping into something. Very clean and organized. Good work.
