Fowler's and Painteds and Blanding's and Ribbons and Milks and Waters...oh my! *pics*

Here are the few odds and ends I was also able to photograph in this Ontario herp mecca...

A juvenile Midland Painted Turtle (Chrysemys picta marginata):

A pretty little Blanding's Turtle (Emydoidea blandingi):

The little (but ultra fast) Fowler's Toad (Bufo woodhousii fowleri):

Many variations of Garters:

A big male Snapper (Chelydra serpentina):

An Eastern Milk Snake (Lampropeltis t. triangulum):

A little Ribbon Snake (Thamnophis sauritus saurtis):

A nicely patterned Northern Water Snake (Nerodia sipedon):

And a pugnacious little DeKay's (Storeria dekayi):

Cheers,
Ryan
P.S. This guy was posing so perfectly that I had to take a pic:

best bunch of picks I've seen in a while, really enjoyed this and the other threads, especially liked the last of the fowler's toad pics.

Thank You

Where exactly did you find that Blandings turtle, I have a project i'm doing on them for the Toronto Zoo so I would like to know some more locations if possible. Thanks a head of time.

I apologize but the sites are confidential. There are a lot of Species at Risk here, the land is protected and entry is prohibited.
