Just a quick introduction...
Hi everyone.
First I'd like to say kick-butt website! Thanks for the referal (you know who you are!)
I have handled numerous reptiles and have studied many different species for many, many years. I'm married with an eight year old daughter, an eleven month old 100lb Rottweiler, a five-foot rescued iguana, and my daughter's new addition "a leopard gecko".
I always had a thing for snakes, especially Ball Pythons which is why as most of you have already guessed I have probably the most realistic Ball Python tattoo on my right calf muscle. The reason I have this is because it was my way of actually coming close to owning a real one "without owning a real one" because my wife was brought up to fear snakes so this was our compromise.
The good news is since the tattoo and a few reptile shows I've really turned her around so I have never been sooo close to owning the real thing too! Which is why I'm on the website today. Every positive response has gotten me that much closer and the fact my daughter is becoming quite the herpist is also a plus.
I can definitely say this website is a plus.
Thanks.
James

That tattoo looks like a real snake. Nice work!
I hope your wife comes around for you. She will grow to love snakes once she gets used to them.
Good luck and welcome!

I had my tattoo done right here in Oakville, Ontario, Canada. At a place call "Way Cool Tattoo's"
Surf the web. That's how I found out who had the best rep. and cleanliness awards. You can also see different artists work on the sites as well.
Mind you, I was lucky I found someone who was inspired by the picture and wouldn't stop until it looked absolutely perfect and realistic. Five hours of lying on my stomach was well worth the results. I'm always happy to sing the praises of my tattoo artist "Cory". I couldn't have planned it any better.

Very nice Tat. Be careful with Way Cool though.. I know there's been some problems with them in the last couple of months... "Anything For A Buck" that's their way of business. Piercing 13 year old girls genitals isn't always the best way to make $70..

Welcome to the site. That is probably one of the best snake tats I've ever seen! Hopefully your wife will feel better about snakes sooner than later, they are truly beautiful and amazing animals to work with.........
