My 3 1/2 ft secret!
Well I have to confess, i have been hiding a snake from you guys!
Petunia is 3.5 ft rescue, the previous owner was feeding it hopper mice, even at 3 ft. This was the snake i had posted in the classifieds for 60, but managed to finagle 45 from the friend i was selling for. Since then P has shed twice, and I need to restock my freezer cuase this guy eatd like a wood chipper!
When i first got him he was pushing 1k, but now, a few months later is pushing 1.5k! this is one hefty snake! AND it hink it is a reduced, what do you think?
and some cool head shots
check the avatar i think rocks!
thanx in advance
-Jacob

You don't have those pics in your gallery, yet that's where you're trying to link them from.. This is why it's not working.. YOu might want to upload them to your gallery then edit your post..

If you delete the pictures from your gallery, they will no longer work. :/

Doesn't look reduced to me, just a normal, but a nice normal nonetheless.

Looks great! I have also adopted some very underfed snakes, they too ate fantastically till they achieved a decent weight and have now slowed down a bit. I'm planning on dropping them to every 2 weeks now instead of every week since they generally are skipping a week inbetween feedings now anyway. My worst cases were Whiplash and Recoil, 12 and 10 year old males that when I got them only weighed 1006g and 916g respectively. Whiplash now weighs 1800g and Recoil is at about 1500g. Recoil is still eating every week but Whiplash finally refused a meal. Not to mention their feeding response has changed dramatically when I first placed them in their feeding container they would literally come up and out ready to strike at everything, poor babies were so hungry, not used to getting fed regular meals. Now they sit nicely in their feeding container and Whiplash now waits till I put the rat down and then he goes over and eats it. Recoil still strikes it off the tongs but I also have 2 that simply nudge it a bit on the tongs and start swallowing!! Gotta love BP's no two are the same!!
