Baby Suris born last night

I had an accidental breeding this year of a young female Suri during my move to my new house.

I was a little worried because the female was not all that big maybe 6 feet and she did not eat at all during her gestation. Well last night she had her litter and looks no worse for wear and the babies though being few in number 6 live and 3 slugs were very unique.

Here is mom right after giving birth wanting to take my head off. She has some aberrant markings on her body, partial striping nice red tail.

Here are some of the babies all have some form of striping. All have partial striping on their necks like mom does. The male that was housed with her for a short time during my move was just a normal nice looking Suri.

Check this one out reverse stripe.

Next Suri litter due shortly from HUGE female bred to a brilliant red male and this one was supposed to happen. LOL

Enjoy

Dan

BIGDAN:

Nice stripe there, bet it be a keeper again, so I won' t try and haggle it from you.....lol.....well maybe.

So CEASAR is proven, good to hear. Its always good to hear a cared for boa becomes a breeder.

Keep up the good work.

Cya...

Beautiful babies -- and the tail on that reverse striper is sweet! Can definitely see that one being a keeper...

Congrats on the babies Dan, can't wait to see pics of the next litter!
