Max length.
What the max length of just a common Boa Constrictor? My girl is just over 4 years old and is about 8 feet long.
She only eats once a month (4 pound rabbit).
She won't get much bigger than this will she?

2 or 3 feet more is pushing it I think, but maybe, just maybe! Maybe if you switched it to a 4 pound rabbit every 3 weeks...

She's playing with her dead rabbit right now. Which is odd, because usually it doesn't take her this long to eat her prey. Well, she'll get it down.
2 or 3 feet longer? Well... damn that's large. I don't think she'll get that big, but who knows. She does shed for me every 2 months like clockwork though.
Shedding that frequently, is that common?

i'v heard that for many BCI's once there 5 years old they are geting close to finish growing, yes, snakes grow their whole lives, so they probably just slow it down.
i explaind to my friend once that my boa was 5.5 feet, 5 years old and ate 1 large rat a week, he said she might get another foot or 2 longer.
my boa is around 5 years old and sheds just about every other month.

Show me a picture of a 15' BCI and I'll show you a liar. Never happened man. The largest one on record is around 13'.
Linebacker, 8' is a really good size, but her growth will slow down. Most of the growth is done in the first 4 years. As for how big they *CAN* get, well, I have an 8 foot MALE, and that's supposed to be extremely uncommon. I personally don't think it's all that uncommon. A buddy of mine here in Calgary has a 10' female, and I have one of her offspring from her and an 8' male. My "little guy" is a year and a half old and already around 5', taking large rats every meal.

That's probably about average, considering it's a female, but it is a very good size for a 1 1/2 yr. old!
