If I ever win a trip to Disney World, I'll send my wife and kids there and come stay with you! You have some pretty cool snakes, my friend!

No,Vanan. Just a "normal" that's het for what I call hi-orange.They (not the hets) retain a lot of red/orange along their sides even as they mature.

Hee hee, Vanan thinks all your floridas are mahogs! She's a real pretty thing. I didn't know that orange could be a recessive trait, thought it was one of those selectively bred type things. Are mahogs like blood red corns, a combo of recessive trait and modifers, or purely recessive or purely selectively bred like sunglow corns?

I can't be certain as the ones I have are the"originals" and have just bred them together this year. It's really more of a selectively bred thing for the color I want. Out of 2 pairs( say 1x2 and 3x4), the babies looked different from clutch to clutch. Clutch 1x2 is really nice.3x4 isn't as "colorful"(but they're very big) Now that I have the best male(3), I'll breed him to the best female(2) next year, and hopefully get what I'm looking for.

It's nice to see someone else with a love for these animals. So many people consider them to be " trash" snakes. I plan on picking up 2 more myself this weekend. That will round out a trio.
