I'm still waiting on a couple girls about that size. Here is how I figure ABOUT how many eggs to expect (afraid to hurt them palpitating and really don’t kneed to know that bad):
The clutch will probably weigh pretty close the 1/3 the pre lay weight, 3,800/3 = 1267 grams. Then the big question is how big of eggs will she lay. If she lays 110 gram eggs she should lay about 11. If she lays bigger eggs then fewer of them, if you can selectively breed for big females that lay small eggs (80 gram = 15 eggs for a girl this size) then you could really go to town. I can’t imagine how big the girls that lay the record 16 – 18 egg clutchs look since my 4,000 gram girl is the biggest I’ve seen so far.
