Why keeps Crocodilians

I was just wondering, why you all feel the need to keep a crocodilians without the certain needs provided?
I don't want to sound rude be certainly most of you can't provide pools large enough.

Thank you Kim.
I just liked how he pinned most of us as uncapable keepers.
Kid, yes that is one of my Niles as well as one of my ponds.

wow, he sure showed you little dragon.

I would like to own one for the challenge. They are amazing animals that i think would be very rewarding to keep. Unfortunately i have moved 3x in 4 years, and imagine i'll be moving again in another year. Once i find some more permanent housing, i will look into getting one.

Okay Kid....When I go to all the reptile stores I see them stuck in small aquariums...I wasn't doubting that some of you can provide a nice home for a croc or gator. It was just a concerned question from some who loves reptiles.

Pet stores are a whole different area, shouldn't condone hobbyist with the same fate as commercial sellers.
The way you said your statment was attaining to all of us
"why you all " so I took the liberty to express my reasoning which wasn't a lie.
Anywho, no worries.

Kim, you're emails are broken, or not receiveing anything. You have me blocked, don't you?
Here's a few pics, mainly for Kim..
Email me Kim Palustris3@aol.com and I'll just send a few pics as a reply. My AOL is ******** at times.

Please excuse the freehandleing, I am a bonified moron. Do take note of the little Nile crocodile on that mighty log behide the 'garter snake' grasped in a furry arm. The log sits on a dirt floor with a tub of water next to it. That was just a favorable place for him to stay when he was a wee one. I'm actually surprised he was never eaten by something..

Here's a downshot before I switched out the two wood pieces.. The turtles lived with the Nile as well..

And here he is frolicing around in the water..

This is my first and last attempt at useing a cage for a holding pen.. 2' tall 4' deep.. Imagine the
work. of getting him out..

In the very first pic from your first post it looks like there's a huge croc under that small log or is that my imagination.

Dragon, it's possible. When I took this pic there were several crocodilians in that pond, although I never noticed nor see it now.

You can see the pics the way Ven described, I was just to lazy to delete and add more pics in my gallery here. But it worked last time I tried it so I figured it'd work again..

My ponds are on a ranch, I had two in my backyard until about 2 months ago. Running water and bait didn't stop 'Skeeters from spawning in my ponds so we filled them up this yr, after making one on the ranch. Moving them seems to be a common routine really..
