The Parents-to-be

Here are the parents of what will soon be (I hope) some bouncing baby hets for charcoal:

Faramir, the big charcoal male from Mark IsBell (who, as you may or may not have noticed, about 80% of my collection has come from)

And Trinity, the Miami female mommy:

Both bred like crazy with no brumation, and Trinity does have significant lumps in her belly. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

They're both labeled in the post.. The bottom one is a Miami and the 'grey one' is a charcoal...

Thanks everyone. The charcoal hasn't eaten since I brought him home, he's been a little "busy" being a studmuffin. Other than that, he's a fantastic snake with a great weight to him. I need to get a scale to measure him more accurately.

That is an impressive sized male and very interesting coloration to him - quite a bit of brown tones and very dark saddles and prominant head pattern - really neat looking. Best of luck with the clutch from these two - should be some interesting hatchlings and future generations,

I bred my anerythristic male to my Miami female a few years back when I didn't have a Miami male and got all "normal" looking babies. No gray anywhere. You'd think some gray would've shown, but no. In fact if anything they're a bit light, but cool. Like a dolt, I save the best, but they both ended up to be males.

here's Mommy
